Five days professional development programme conducted on "Financial Modelling Using Excel" January 20-24, 2014 at the Institute.

Total fifteen participants attended the programme. Out of fifteen participants, two participants were from Da Afghanistan Bank (Central Bank of Afghanistan), Aghanistan and two from Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eleven officials were from different insurance companies all over India.
Understanding Capital Markets
 
Programme on "Understanding Capital Markets" conducted on December 18, 2013 for Officers of Higher Defence Management Course - 09, Secunderabad.

Twenty four Defence Officials from different Ranks attended the programme.
International Capital Markets: Developments and Policy Issues
Two-week Programme on "International Capital Markets: Developments and Policy Issues" under Technical Co-operation Scheme (TCS) funded by Government of India conducted during December 2 13, 2013.

Ten delegates all over the South East Asian countries from Bhutan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Philippines, Bangladesh and Nepal attended the programme.
Financial Markets Regulations
One-week in-service training programme for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers on "Financial Markets Regulations" conducted December 2 -6, 2013.

Thirty three Senior level Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers attended the programme.

Professional development programme on "Fixed Income Analytics Management" held during November 18-22, 2013. Out of ten participants, four participants were from Bank of Tanzania, Tanzania.

Institute conducted a five-day residential programme on "Investigating Economic Crimes in Financial Markets" during October 21- 25, 2013 for Senior Officers (viz. Joint Commissioner, Addl. Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Director of IT, Additional Director of Income Tax) of Central and Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB) at Hotel Ramada, Navi Mumbai.

There were total 14 participants.

Senior officials from SEBI, CARE, MCX Stock Exchange, etc. and other market practitioners/ consultants were invited to deliver lectures in the programme.
Understanding Capital Markets
The Institute conducted a complimentary half-day training programme on "Understanding Capital Markets" for Officers of Higher Defence Management Course-08, Secunderabad on 31st January, 2013. 26 officers attended the programme.

Field visits to National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL) and Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) had been arranged to observe live trading in the market.
Foreign Exchange Risk Management
Foreign Exchange Risk Management (for Executives of Aditya Birla Finance Ltd.) A two-day professional development programme on 'Foreign Exchange Risk Management' was conducted for executives of Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. on July 9 & 10, 2013 at their premises in Mumbai. Total seventeen executives had attended the programme.

Twelve Senior Officers included from Commissioner of IT, Additional Commissioner of IT, Deputy Commissioners of Food & Supplies and Consumers Affairs depts.Govenment of India, New Delhi, Senior officials of State Agricultural Marketing Boards of various states and others attended the programme. The Institute arranged field visits to Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) and NCDEX, Mumbai.

The Director, FMC inaugurated the programme.

Thirteen Senior Officers included from Directorate Agricultural departments of Tamilnadu, Faizabad, Surat, Chennai and Hyderabad and also from Department of Consumer Affairs, of New Delhi, Orissa, Gandhinagar-Gujarat and others attended the programme.

Commodity Futures Markets for Officers of Central and State Government sponsored by FMC Institute conducted a two-day residential programme on "Commodity Futures Markets" for Senior Officers of Central and State Government (Sponsored by Forward Markets Commission) during November 22- 23, 2012 (2 days) at Hotel Ramada, Navi Mumbai. The Director, FMC inaugurated the programme. Institute arranged field visits to Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) and NCDEX, Mumbai. Seven Senior Officers included from Directorate Agricultural departments of Hyderabad, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh and others attended the programme.

Institute designed, organized and conducted a five day residential programme on "Debt Markets, Fixed Income Analytics and Credit Rating" exclusively for delegates of Securities & Exchange Commission, Nigeria from March 19 - 23, 2012 at Hotel Ramada, Navi Mumbai.

Total 29 participants attended the program. The group had Senior Officials from the Central and State Government viz. Director, Assistant Director, Joint Commissioner of Income tax, Deputy Director, District Supply Controller, Economic Officer, Managing Director and others.

Field visits to NCDEX and NSE had been arranged to observe live trading in the market.

Executive Directors and Senior officials from RBI, SEBI, CCIL, CARE, NSE, MCX Stock Exchange, LIC Pension, Planning Commission, Government of India etc. and other market practitioners/consultants were invited to deliver lectures in the programme.

Mr. G. Anantharaman, former Whole-time Member-SEBI inaugurated the Programme. Executive Directors and Senior officials from SEBI, NCDEX, NSE etc. and other market practitioners/consultants were invited to deliver lectures in the programme.

The programme had overwhelming response from the attended 41 participants.

Institute conducted a five days residential programme on "Basic Finance" for Officers of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) at Hotel Celebration, Vashi, Navi Mumbai during February 7 -11, 2011 for Officers of Life Insurance Corporation. Eight delegates attended the programme.
Foreign Exchange and Risk Management
Institute conducted a two-day workshop cum programme on "Foreign Exchange and Risk Management" at Hotel Atithi, Vile Parle, Mumbai during February 11- 12, 2011. Total 11 participants from various banking sectors such as Central Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of Baroda, ING Vysa Bank, Punjab National Bank attended the programme.
